For use with eMule/eDonkey network, Sharereactor used to offer the biggest selection of links to files. You could search it for just about anything and find the appropriate link. Simply click ing it would add it to your eMule download list. Then, the authorities caught up with Sharereactor and closed it down.
Shareconnector is a good alternative. It offers more information on links and downloads too, but the main reason to use it, is to find easy-to-use links to good files.
If you like Bittorrent better, Earthreactor has an updated list of torrents. The best Bittorrent site is no doubt SuprNova.
